Julie Lynch
Julie lives in a town in the beautiful Adelaide Hills of South Australia. She was influenced from an early age by her aunt, who worked in graphic design and studied textiles, and her mother who operated a craft business. As a result, Julie was encouraged to develop her drawing and art skills. She has studied printmaking, advertising, graphic design and textile design.
Julie has worked as a graphic designer in apparel for the textile industry for over twenty years, focusing on print and pattern for yardage. Natural elements such as flowers, fungi and foliage as well as birds and animals are featured as motifs in many of her designs.
For a number of years Julie and her sister-in-law operated a textile company featuring homewares that showcased Australian fauna and flora.
